My grandfather, Clarence Wernsman , in the late 1940's. He was an amature photographer and took this self potrait of himself securing a deal as Treasurer for The Teamsters. This is  one of my favorite photos of him as I never had the opportunity to know him. He photographed and documented all of our family and taught me the value of a portrait with his photojournalistic style.
